What is Designer Dead Stock Fabric?

Designer dead stock fabric is surplus fabric from designers.  The fabric is new, beautiful, and fashionable.  It is a great way to add a designers touch to your fabric collection and sewing projects while also sewing sustainably.

Why isn't the fabric content listed on some fabrics?

Great question!  While we do our best to get all the important fabric information listed on our fabrics occasionally, the information isn't available to us from the source.  When we receive fabrics without this information we sometimes perform a burn test to determine if the fabric is natural or synthetic.  If you would like the results of the burn test contact us and we will be happy to oblige.

Can I purchase less than one yard of fabric?

No, we sell fabric by the yard.  I would love to sell it by the 1/4 yard or half yard but our present tech does not allow for that without making purchasing yardage totally confusing for you.  But, as soon as our platform allows for it.... we will definitely incorporate the change.  

Can I re-order a fabric I just love but I don't see it on the website anymore, can you get more?

Probably not. It is best to order the amount of fabric you need for your project. Once a fabric is sold out it is rare that we can find more.

Can I order a swatch?

Sure, just contact us and we will be happy to send you a swatch.  However, we do not provide swatches for our speciality and vintage fabrics. 

Will you hold fabric for me?

No, we will not hold fabric.  If you see something you love it's best to just go for it.

Do you sell internationally?

No, but we are working on it!

When will my order be shipped?

All orders received before 1pm, M-F will be processed that same day.  If you placed your order after after 1pm it be processed the following day.  If you placed your order on Friday after 1pm, your order will be processed the following Monday. We do not ship out on weekends.  

Exceptions to this policy would occur when we have increased volume.  Rest assured, your fabric will be shipped as soon as possible. Please see our shipping policy for more information.
